Identity is a tricky concept. We grew so attached to it. It has been pushed by governments and anthropology, sociological frames and history, schools and families: where we belong. But as much as the collective becomes part of us, will fail to define us. Thank God for that. These definitions are an easy way out that just exercises stereotyping, Inducing others to stereotype us. We end up  creating the same old blind monster we all fight against: stereotypes.

We are, in fact, a journey. And what can we learn about a full journey in a few minutes? That is why the title of this page is "ABOUT". And in this "about" I am a writer, I am painter, I am a designer. But also a traveler, a cook, a researcher, and psychotherapist. I am a rebel daughter of Japan.

I found pleasure in writing since I was quite small. I would compose poetry and write songs, I would play guitar. But my ultimate wish has been to inspire and to get inspired by people.

Here Be Dragons, is a station on the journey. It talks about a  universal condition; how prone we are to illusion, how we build our “reality”, and how important it is to face our fears and over all to allow those fears to “face” us.
